The ProLine Push-Out Test Stand, also known as a push tester, checks the strength of sample welds to help fabricators ensure the quality of finished products.
The ProLine system uses a hand-operated pump to exert up to 5,000 lbs. (2,250 kg) of force on weld nuts and studs. It measures force at the point of weld failure, or in a non-destructive mode. (Left: The standard 5,000 lbs. Push Out Test Stand with hand-operated hydraulic jack.) Push Out Test Stands with 10,000-lbs. and 12,000 lbs. capacities are also available.
Quality assurance doesn’t take up much space — The test stand has a small footprint, only 8″x18″x27″ (WxDxH) and weighs approximately 150 lbs. The steel stand and hand-operated jack are painted to resist corrosion.
The optional Quick Kit Adapter set (pictured below) help ensure test repeatability, while allowing for easy switching between tested fastener sizes.
